For me, technology was never an end in itself, but always a means to solving real tasks.
Experience, development and responsibility form the basis of my actions today.

My path into engineering

As a child, I had no computer or game console, but I did have mechanical toys, curiosity and the drive to understand how things work. LEGO Technic and fischertechnik gave me my first practical insight into technical principles.

At the age of twelve, I received a book about two-stroke, four-stroke and Wankel engines. Shortly afterwards, my brother and I dismantled an old moped from a scrapyard and restored it to working order. This developed into the approach that still shapes my work today: understand, plan, implement and improve technically.

1995 – Technical training and career entry

Technical training focused on mechanical engineering, engineering design and manufacturing. My first projects included plant layouts and CAD design.

2000–2011 – International projects and experience abroad

In various countries across Europe and beyond, I gained experience in technical project implementation under actual operating and construction-site conditions.

Regions: Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic states, Russia, Kazakhstan and Southeast Asia.

2012–2020 – International freelance project work

During this period, I worked internationally as a freelance project planner, project manager and CAD design engineer.

Locations included:

  • Africa: Nigeria
  • South America: Nicaragua
  • Arabian Peninsula: Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait
  • CIS and Eastern Europe: Russia and Kazakhstan
  • Scandinavia and the Baltic states

These projects demonstrated that technical solutions must always take operational, organizational and cultural conditions into account.

2017 – Own workshop

I set up my own workshop to manufacture two container prototypes. In subsequent years, it was used for prototypes, assemblies and practical testing.

2020 – Establishment of Scherer Engineering GmbH

Scherer Engineering GmbH emerged from many years of project and engineering experience. Its core areas were engineering design, scan-to-CAD, special-purpose machinery and technical project planning.

2026 – Development of the corporate structure

Operational service delivery was transferred to Scherer Engineering Kft. Project knowledge, engineering methods and customer relationships continue within the new structure.

Today – Engineering with responsibility

Today, I plan, design and support industrial projects from as-built capture and technical analysis through to implementation. This work is based on more than 20 years of international project experience and a structured, transparent and practical approach.

Deliberately lean structure

Scherer Engineering deliberately operates with a lean and flexible structure. This keeps engineering work, project decisions and communication closely connected.

For engineering design and documentation, I use systems including HiCAD and HELiOS. Specialized partners are engaged on a project-specific basis where required.
